Verifying Your Indices
Once your index has been finished and sent, you sit back and relax and enjoy life. But your involvement is not quite done. There is one more thing you can do to help the process along.

While following up is not technically required, of all the people who might look at your index once it is in the database, you are the most likely to be able to see if any mistakes snuck in.

When you download the full database, find your indexes. Check that the title information in the series file is correct. Check that all the issues you submitted appear. Spot check the issues for possible mistakes.

If you don't want to download the full database, check the on-line database at http://www.comics.org/ after the new indexes have been added.

And finally, once the next reservations listing comes out, check that all of the titles you indexed are now gone from the list. Every once in awhile something slips through, if you see a mistake, check with the Reservations Coordinator.
