Indexing A Comic
Once you have a title reserved, it's time to get down to business.

If you've read the Formats document, you might find yourself a little daunted by the prospect of indexing a comic.

Don't Panic.

The submission format for the GCD is a plain text file (letters, numbers, punctuation, spaces, tabs, etc.) -- nothing fancy. You can create such a file on any computer out there. I have created indexes using Notepad (the text editor in Windows). To introduce you to the concepts of indexing, I'm going to assume you are using a text editor or word processor. Notepad

Examples of text editors and word processors (which are just fancy text editors) are Notepad, Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, SimpleText, Appleworks, or TextEditor. UNIX fans might even use PICO or vi. In any case, you probably have one of these programs on your computer.
