Indicia
The indicia is the little box of small type usually found at the bottom of the first page, but it can sometimes appear on the second or third page of the comic. It can also sometimes be found on either the inside front or back cover of the issue. This page is usually where the credits for the issue or story are placed and is often called the title page. (If indexing a squarebound comic with no indicia, use the title on the copyright page.) Here's a sample indicia from the Aquaman #75.
