Using Other Applications
Because the format is simple and can be done on any computer, it also can be done using a variety of computer programs. Some people use spreadsheets, some use database programs, some use word processors, and I'm sure some have devised their own means to input information. Some of our indexers have created templates in Excel, FileMaker Pro, Works, Access and Word, which are available on the web site. If you have a program that has a template available, you might download the template and give it a try.
