Looks like Annihilation Classic is giving us a Wendell reprint.
1 down...a whole bunch more to go.

We seem to keep jumping those hurdles...

"He was transformed from a Marvel Two-In-One punchline to the single most powerful member of the Mighty Avengers, perhaps the single most powerful human being in the Marvel Universe, period, someone able to go toe-to-toe with the Silver Surfer and . . . hold back for fear of hurting the Surfer."

How about a review of the package?
Quasar story look good? Did they recolor it? Cover there?
How about the Nova story?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Isn't there another thread with this topic? I think I posted there.

Maybe merge them here?

Yeah, sort of.
I'll see about merging them.
You know me, I was just wanting more details. Smile

I actually haven't had the time to read it yet, but the coloring looks fantastic!

This doesn't even do it justice as my scanner picks up "lines" or something that you don't see - (sorry for the scan I didnt want to open the book up and break the binding! Very Happy )

Back when comics were just $1. Seems like so long ago; I must be getting old.

slightly off-topic, but there is a Secret Wars II omnibus I saw solicited for January or something that will have Quasar #8 in it I think. Expensive sucker, was solicited for about $80.

Cool!
The colors really look vibrant.
I can't wait to pick this up.

I hear you...I still get bummed thinking about the jump from 30 cents to 40 cents. I learned about inflation the hard way since it my comic buying budget back then was about $1.25. I went from getting 4 books to only 3. Of course, I had to increase my budget. Smile

I would buy a Cosmos In Collision hardcover in a heartbeat. It would have to include the prequel story in it introducing the second costume with the facemask (which I actually always liked better than the fourth costume with the awful mullet that lasted for so long).

Heck, I'd buy one for me and one for each boy. That's 3 copies Marvel...are you listening?
Ugh...mullet. You know, Tony had one of those for awhile, but it never stuck out the bottom of his helmet...thank goodness.
I still prefer the post-Cosmos In Collision costume. It's just so sleek and simple...has a real Gil Kane Green Lantern feel to it, but with the star-field cape. However, I must say the Annihilation costume was not bad at all. It had a militaristic feel to it that fit right in with the grittier tone of Annihilation.

Cool...I"ll have to add it to the list when it comes out. Hey, that will make 2 issues of Quasar that have been reprinted...we're getting there. Smile

Quasar #'s 32, 33, 34, 35 (twice), 36

Any other Quasar issues?
