04/05/1998 - Created Quantum Zone Updates e-mail list. If you would like to recieve e-mail when the Quantum Zone is updated, drop me a line. Updated Quasar's Log and cleaned up the Quantum Chronicle a bit. Also, added 2 great George Pérez Avenger pics to the Image Gallery. Many thanks to everyone over at Avengers Assemble for the use of the graphics.

03/09/1998 - All the info previously in those annoying tables has now been totally reformatted and placed with a cover scan. Plot info obviously isn't up yet, but expect them soon. Be warned, though, I created a montage of Quasar covers as the main page and it's rather large.

01/22/1998 - Added several new images to the Image Gallery, including sketches by Art Adams, Ron Garney, and Rob Davis. Steve Lightle also provided his logo design for Quasar.

10/03/1997 - Added George Pérez's Avengers 30th Anniversary Poster as well as his cover (in black & white) to Avengers #1. Many thanks to everyone over at Avengers Assemble for the use of the graphics. Let's face it, if you like Quasar, you probably like the Avengers. And if you don't, you should. The Avengers will be making a return to greatness in December when Kurt Busiek and George Pérez will be tackling the title. As for Quasar, I know he at least appears on the cover.

09/18/1997 - Added the cover to Legends of the Legion #4 by Steve Lightle.

08/20/1997 - Added some additional entries to Quasar's Log. I'm still in the process of scanning covers and reformatting the Issue Information Section.

07/12/1997 - Nearly finished switching most images to JPEGs. Added some more Quasar card scans to the Image Gallery. Also, Steve Lightle has again provided us with more Quasar stuff. Check out the Image Gallery for an some art that didn't make the cut for Quasar #40, and look for the beautful rendition of everybody's favorite world devourer. Also, with the generous help of Amalia Barrios who has some amazing checklists for most (even obscure) Marvel cards, I've added to the list of cards where Quasar makes an appearance. 07/07/1997 - Updated Quasar's Log. It's a work in progress, so e-mail me with any corrections. I am also working on a better issue index incorporating frames and cover scans. Unfortunately, my time at the scanner is very limited, so this could take a while. I've got a SKETCH!!!! Immensely talented Quasar alumnus Steve Lightle did a sketch for me at the Kansas City Comicon in May. Steve also has a web site, Lightle Graphics. The news just keeps getting better and better, though. Steve has agreed to scan Quasar related stuff from his inventory for display here at the Quantum Zone. This means that this sight might actually get updated regularly now, so keep your eyes peeled.

08/13/1996 - It is my sad duty to pass along some terrible news. Sunday, August 11, 1996, Marvel writer/editor Mark Gruenwald passed away from a heart attack. Mark was one of my favorite writers, and this page is a tribute to his ability to make me care for a fictional character. Although he didn't write Quasar's first appearance, in my mind he created the character. Mark was only 43. He will be missed.

03/09/1996 - Identical twin sons, William Alexander & Michael Joseph, were born at 2:22 PM and 2:50 PM, respectively. Alex weighed in at 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and Mike wieghed in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces. My wife Stacy and the boys are both doing fine.

03/01/1996 - The Quantum Zone is now on-line and the place to go for all things Quasar. However, the site is still under heavy construction, so please bear with me.
